About the Memorial
Resting in the tranquil courtyard behind the Legislative Office Building, this memorial honors those Corrections Officers and Parole Officers of New York State who were killed in the line of duty. Large granite tablets inscribed with the names of the fallen officers commemorates their bravery and dedication, ensuring that their sacrifices will not be forgotten.
