Feb. 18, This Year
Dear John (O, brother of mine…)
Now, the virtues of your present place of stay may be few I hear you got tigers but I’m beginning to think that the virtues of New York are even fever (snow smog snow dirt snow people snow people people people people) but enough of this joy how are you??? Well, I hope[.] By the way: Thank you tak gracias danke grazie merci for the kankaroo (kangaroo? thingy) you sent. Ma gave it to me, and I love it…Are the V.C. behaving themselves? There’s really not very much happening here…I was freed of school for a week because of the snow (a slight compensation for it’s inconvenience. Otherwise Things are pretty slow. I go to school, come home, sleep, draw, go out with Charles, go to school, etc. I sure hope everything is O.K. with you. I heard this morning that they’re fighting in your area. Ah well… Good luck though. By the way, I really guess the chances are one in a million, but if you run into a guy named Bob Kalajian (he’s a little guy with a big nose) he’s a friend of mine, so say hi. Got to go my class is going to begin soon (I just had a 3 1/2 hr. break!) Soooo Long, Keep Well. Love, Judy
