Ice Rink Rules
For Everyone's Safety, the Following Rules are in Effect
  1. There will be NO:
    1. Speed or figure skating
    2. Sitting or lying on the ice
    3. Horseplay on or off the ice
    4. Littering
    5. Sleds, hockey equipment, bicycles, or skateboards on the ice
    6. Sitting on the barrier walls
    7. Eating or smoking on the ice or in the rink area
  2. No one is allowed on the ice without wearing ice skates.
  3. Everyone must skate counterclockwise, and keep moving while on the ice.
  4. Everyone must obey the rink attendants and report any hazards to the rink attendants.

This is just a partial list. There are elements of risk that common sense and personal awareness can help reduce. You are ultimately responsible for your personal safety. Use caution and skate in control. Respect other skaters. The rink attendants cannot guarantee your safety and will not protect you from injury. It is part of your responsibility to avoid other skaters and hazards. Failure to use good judgment, skate responsibly, or follow the Rink Rules will result in a loss of skating privileges.

Violators will be asked to leave the ice rink, and those refusing to do so will be reported to the State Police. Repeat violators may be barred from the ice rink for the season.
