First Officially Designated Landmark in New York: Wyckoff House Museum

Brooklyn

The Wyckoff House Museum was built in 1652 as home to Pieter and Grietje Wyckoff and is the state's oldest structure. The original portion of the house was the first officially designated landmark in New York State. Today, the museum is an example of Brooklyn’s colonial farms.
